Buying and Shipping Policies
All customers ordering through the online store must read these policies and initial during checkout that they understand and accept all policies on this page. We strongly recommend all customers read over all policies before ordering birds. Exceptions will not be made due to customers failing to read the policies before placing an order.
State and Federal Regulation Polices
It is the responsibility of the customer to know and comply with any regulations enforced by the federal government, their state, county, and/or any other relevant party that may impose rules obtaining to owning your birds.
Shipping Schedule
We only deliver birds to USPS for shipping on Monday's or Tuesday's in order for the birds to make it safely to their destinations before the weekend. Please we aware of this when purchasing birds.
We do not ship during Holiday weeks due to the limited delivery schedule of the USPS.
Shipping Prices
We charge a flat rate shipping charge of $100 per pair of birds purchased. We only ship USPS Priority Express to ensure birds are delivered within 3 days of shipment. Prices may vary based on shipping zip code and amount of birds purchased. Prices may also vary due to changes to USPS Pricing. Due to the use of a flat rate shipping charge, the price will not match the postage sticker on your box. The pricing of the flat rate shipping covers the USPS cost, as well as the cost of the boxes required for shipping.
We only ship to the lower 48 states, not including the District of Columbia.
Shipping Policies
We guarantee delivery to your post office. If any bird arrives at your post office dead on arrival, we will refund you the price of that bird as long as the following conditions are met:
Birds must be picked up from USPS no later than 3 hours after they are available to be picked up. We recommend that you contact your Post Office to inform them you are expecting a shipment of live birds. Please provide a phone number we can put on the box for USPS to call you at when your shipment arrives.
ALL BIRDS MUST BE CHECKED BEFORE LEAVING USPS.
If any losses are identified, you will need to file PS form 1000 (7530-02-000-9931) with your post office.
THIS NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED AT THE TIME OF PICK UP AT USPS
2 copies of this form need to be turned in to the post office; you will keep one copy.
A copy of this form, along with a picture of the dead bird, will need to be emailed to warehousefarms19@outlook.com within 12 hours of receiving the birds.
ALL conditions above must be met to qualify for a refund or replacement.
We obtain the right to choose between replacing the bird or refunding the cost of the bird. All shipping charges or other fees are non-refundable.
We do not offer any additional guarantee once the birds leave the USPS facility, our farm, or anywhere else you may receive your birds from. In the event a bird arrives alive, but with an obvious problem, customer must notify us within 1 hour of receiving the bird. Picture or video will be required. Any situation of this nature will be handled on a case by case basis.
NOTE: Birds being very scared or nervous should not be reported as a problem. This is considered normal behavior for these birds, especially after the process of transportation. Once they are in their new home/aviary, they will settle down.
Cosmetic things such as feather quality, males being in full, or other things that do not affect the birds health are not guaranteed. Our goal is to provide healthy birds, but things happen during transport that may affect the looks of the bird.
All birds will be wing-clipped to prevent flight in case something were to happen during transport.
We strongly urge not to order live birds from us that you plan to use for taxidermy use.
Refunds & Exchanges
Due to the nature of the items we sell, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Refunds are only given under the conditions listed in detail above pertaining to dead birds or birds with an obvious problem, which is issued on a case by case basis.
